Darine Hotait that questions our understanding of the repulsion between mortality and immortality— two extremities of thought in our nature.

The
sci fi genre is underrepresented and almost non-existent in Middle Eastern/ Arabic speaking cinema. With this film, Hotait proposes a vision of Beirut in
the year 2050.
The director is looking to
crowd fund the project through Zoomaal.
Hotait is a futurist and is passionate about the technological advancement in the fields of robotics and
artificial intelligence and their effect on the human evolution.
The New York-based award winning screenwriter, film director and short story writer Hotait received her MFA in Film directing from
Art Center College of Design in California and is the founder of
Cinephilia Productions, an independent film production company.
