Taking his message of the promise of a brighter future and the age of abundance to the heart of today's economic catastrophe, Peter Diamandis recently spoke at a TED event in Greece.

Diamandis, founder of the X PRIZE and author of, Abundance: The Future Is Better Than You Think spoke about exponential technologies and how they are accelerating change in the world. 

Diamandis co-authored Abundance with award-winning technology writer Steven Kotler, bringing together decades of data and extensive interviews with hundreds of innovators and entrepreneurs, including Larry Page, Steven Hawking, Dean Kamen, Daniel Kahneman, Elon Musk, Bill Joy, Stewart Brand, Jeff Skoll, Ray Kurzweil, Ratan Tata, and Craig Venter.

Since the dawn of humanity, a privileged few have lived in stark contrast to the majority. Conventional wisdom says this gap cannot be closed. But it is closing -- fast. Four forces -- exponential technologies, the DIY innovator, the Technophilanthropist and the Rising Billion -- are conspiring to solve our biggest problems.
